We asked ourselves whys,
Letting them penetrate deeply
under our skin,
And when they reached our soul,
– Stormy and tormented
So desperate, they could take our breath away –
We bowed:
In misery at first,
In determination later,
In awe at last,
Silently sipping in beauty,
Sorbet of sublimation,
Forecast of hope, and melancholy
Thriving.

We’ll never tell anybody
About these journeys into our trash,
Where we found ourselves
Homeless and rootless,
Ruthlessly searching to be seen.

Now we are eagles,
Flying high,
Letting go of the ballast
Of our past,
Shining in reasonable rollercoasters
Of joy
Slowly savouring life.

Paper cuts

It smells of music, your neck,
As much as his eyes,
Fool Fires.

Memories,
Death
By a thousand paper cuts.

Mirrors,
To match the emptiness
Of the void that stands
Right in front of us.
So deep I drawn.

To find a good friend and not to lose it,
To recognise their value,
The thread that connects
Two souls, and not being a passerby
Superficial and rushed,
An empty shell and lonely.
